We were pleasantly surprised to learn today that we will be included in Foley Gallery's first Summer Show Project.
The Summer Show Project offers the unique chance for artists to work directly with the gallery, creating new work to be curated in a group exhibition.
The curatorial panel who decides the theme of the show includes Thomas Allen, David Carmona, Lisa Hostetler, Jun Lee, Denise Wolff and Jessica Dimmock.
Artists included will be:
Billie Mandle, Steve Smith, Renhui Zhao, Tribble & Mancenido, Jens Windolf, William Rugen, Bahar Yuru Koglu, Phil Jung, John Saponara, Joshua Martinez, Maria Ines Manchengo, Sa Schloff and Bill Finger.
It's a very interesting way to work directly with a gallery while also working on your own group show. We look forward to it's outcome and working with Michael Foley watching the process unfold. The show will be up next June, so stay tuned. We can't wait to make new work!
