Officially been on the road now for a month from New York to Ohio, Wisconsin, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, Missouri, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Illinois, and the states in between we forget to mention. Whew! A hell of a ride, and a whole year more to look forward to! Until we have a fairly significant amount of images to show (plus it's difficult to develop film when you're constantly rolling), we'll be sending random teasers along the way. Here's Audio Teaser I:

The Americans

We were delighted to come home to this long awaited gem at our door! Words cannot begin to explain this man's vision! As we too journey through these 48 contiguous states over the course of the year, this photo book will be one of few that take the ride along with us. This journey has been made by many but is an interesting time for us to take ours. With soaring fuel and food prices and a new president in office we look forward to what we'll see and capture.
"Robert Frank...he sucked a sad poem right out of America onto film, taking rank among the tragic poets of the world" -Jack Kerouac

Solitary States
Solitary States is a mixed media exhibition responding to the feeling of separation and sense of isolation generated by contemporary society. The exhibition explores the possibility of reclaiming oneself through the inward journey.
We are humbled to be part of this wonderful show curated by Bryan Barcena. If you are in Miami, stop by and see some great work!
